Buckingham Partner, David Drechsler, along with four of his Buckingham colleagues, volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland’s Brief Advice Clinic on Sept. 13 at the Cleveland Public Library – Glenville Branch.
The clinic’s mission is to offer a complimentary legal counsel for low-income individuals with civil legal issues. Volunteer attorneys from Buckingham, Cleveland City Council and City Hall all came together to assist members of the local community.
“It is a very meaningful experience,” says Neil Bhagat, associate at Buckingham. “I, along with my colleagues, are happy to support the local community any way we can.”
Legal Aid Society of Cleveland provides free legal advice and representation to low-income individuals in five counties in northeast Ohio: Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain.
