About Randy:
I am an attorney with deep experience in labor & employment matters and both Civil and Criminal litigation, both in the private and public sectors. Years ago, I ran my own firm, and I am very excited to bookend my career by returning to private practice at Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs. I am passionate about working with clients on labor relations issues and representing them throughout the process up to and including litigation, if needed.
- Joined Buckingham in 2024
- Previously worked as the Deputy Mayor for Labor Relations for the City of Akron from 2013 to 2022 and Assistant to the Mayor for Labor Relations from 2022 to 2024
- Extensive experience in all areas of labor relations including representing unions, governmental agencies, employers and employees, and going before SERB and the US Department of Labor
- First chair trial experience in numerous trials in State and Federal Courts throughout the states of Ohio, Florida and other National and international venues.
- International experience representing clients at The Hague
- Additional experience in intellectual property law and criminal defense
- Former NFLPA (National Football League Players Association) Certified Agent representing NFL Players. Also represented LPGA players, US Women’s Olympic Soccer Team and MLS soccer players.
- Served as General Counsel under two Summit County Sheriffs
