(Akron, OH, January 23, 2018) – Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC is pleased to announce that Michele Hoza has joined the firm’s Akron office as a partner in the Business Practice Group.
Hoza has more than 15 years of experience in managing corporate securities matters and Private Equity transactions. She often has served as general counsel for clients, offering both legal counsel and boardroom strategy support. She joins Buckingham from Kohrman, Jackson & Krantz LLP.
As a member of the Business Practice Group’s Mergers & Acquisitions team, Hoza joins a highly-focused and diverse group of attorneys.
Buckingham’s Mergers & Acquisitions team guides numerous companies, from start-ups to large corporations, through sophisticated transactions. The team works in collaboration to assist businesses with the reorganization, and economic and financial consolidation of current and future assets. They work with both buyers and sellers in recommending strategies, preparing contracts and disclosure statements, and advising clients on complex regulatory compliance issues.

Michele is highly experienced in M&A transactions and securities. She has been involved with numerous transactions including $413 million private sale of a company, $200 million merger, $300 million formation and strategic acquisition of a business and has represented both privately-held and publicly-traded companies.
