Buckingham is pleased to announce that Lucas W. Murray has joined the Firm’s Canton office as a Partner in the Business practice group.
Lucas has extensive experience advising business clients on mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, entity selection, contract negotiations and business succession planning. He also provides representation to clients as general counsel, helping them navigate employment and noncompetition agreements, employee benefit plans, manufacturing and vendor agreements, and more.

Lucas joins a strong group of attorneys at Buckingham who serve clients ranging from middle market businesses to Fortune 500 companies in Ohio and throughout the country. In the last six months, Buckingham has added ten attorneys across all three offices; Lucas is the latest addition of top talent to join the Firm.

Lucas received his juris doctorate from The University of Akron School of Law. He was born and raised in Canton, Ohio and resides there today with his wife Samantha and their three children.
