Pavlidis Appointed to Chair of Buckingham’s Diversity Committee

Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC is pleased to announce that Partner, Marietta M. Pavlidis, has been appointed Chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee.

“Buckingham established a diversity committee to assist in developing and maintaining policies to promote a diverse work force within the firm,” said John Slagter, Managing Partner. “Marietta is committed to encouraging partners, associates and staff members to embrace our diversity initiatives that will benefit firm, and clients, and the communities we serve.”

Pavlidis joined Buckingham in 2002, and spends time in both the Akron and Canton offices. She focuses her practice on supporting executives, business owners, physicians, other licensed professionals, and individuals and their spouses when dealing with family law issues. She also provides legal counsel and representation to employers from a wide variety of industries in Ohio Workers’ Compensation matters.

Pavlidis lives in Jackson Township with her husband, Sam Kragalott, and son, Milan.  She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association; Akron Bar Association, where she served as past chair of the Family Law Section; Stark County Bar Association; Ohio Women’s Bar Association; Charles F. Scanlon and Judge Samuel H. Bell Inn of Court and The National Advocates. In addition, she is a member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church. Pavlidis is a graduate of Leadership Akron, Class 29 and a graduate of Torchbearers, Akron Class of 2011.
