On December 7, 2021, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia issued a nationwide injunction preventing the government from enforcing the vaccine mandate for federal contractors and subcontractors in all covered contracts anywhere in the United States. The government will likely appeal to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. This Order follows the preliminary injunction issued last week blocking enforcement of the federal contractor mandate in Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.
