BUCKINGHAM PROMOTES JOSHUA D. NOLAN TO PARTNER

Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC is proud to announce the promotion of Joshua D. Nolan to Partner.

“Josh has excelled as an attorney at Buckingham and continues to demonstrate commitment, hard-work and responsibility in his legal practice,” says John Slagter, Buckingham’s Managing Partner. “It is always a proud moment for us as a firm to celebrate the achievement of this professional milestone.”

Nolan attended the University of Akron, School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2009. He began his legal career at Buckingham where he participated in the Summer Associate program, providing legal research and litigation support for cases involving nonprofit and public entities, commercial disputes, and intellectual property matters. Prior to joining the firm, Nolan worked in higher education for more than a decade. He continues to focus his practice on higher education law and litigation. Nolan helps a number of universities, public institutions and private colleges handle many facets of education law, including Title IX compliance, while also managing sensitive litigation and administrative actions for individuals, institutions and universities.

Ohio’s Super Lawyers® included Nolan as a Rising Star from 2013-2016.

Nolan lives in Medina, Ohio with his wife, Ellen and their two children. He currently sits on the editorial board of The Journal of College and University Law for which he contributes. He also is a member of the Board of Directors for the Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio.
