Buckingham Welcomes Gregory Amend as Partner in the Cleveland Office

(CLEVELAND, OH, August 9, 2013) ― The law firm of Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC, is proud to announce that Gregory P. Amend has joined the firm as a Partner in the Cleveland office’s Litigation Practice Group.

Prior to joining Buckingham, Amend practiced at Kohrman Jackson & Krantz PPL and was a member of its Litigation and Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy Practice Groups.  Amend represents businesses, business owners and individuals in a variety of business and commercial disputes, including  breach of contract, fraud, shareholder/member disputes, commercial leases, breach of fiduciary duty, deceptive practices/business torts, landlord/tenant issues, real property disputes, restrictive covenants, commercial paper, successor liability, securities and other general business matters.  In addition to various State and Federal courts, Amend also has significant experience in a variety of arbitration forums, including the American Arbitration Association, FINRA and the Better Business Bureau.

Amend received his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in history from Bowling Green State University. He attended Syracuse University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor, graduating in the top four percent of his class.

Amend is recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013. He also previously served as  the Elected Chairperson of the 2012-2013 Meritas Leadership Institute.

He lives in Lyndhurst, Ohio with his wife (Morgan) and daughters (Claire and Tess).
