BUCKINGHAM NAMES DAVID J. LINDNER AS NEW REAL ESTATE & CONSTRUCTION PRACTICE GROUP CHAIR
Lindner succeeds Nicholas T. George, who has been in the leadership position for a combined 13 years—most recently from 2009 to 2019.
Lindner is a transactional attorney who handles buying, selling, leasing, development and financing of real estate for business clients. Clients rely on his expertise in negotiating and drafting contracts and leases, resolving title issues and closing deals. He works together with in-house counsel, architects, brokers, project managers and other members of the client’s real estate team to address every aspect of a transaction.
“David has proven himself to be an invaluable member of our team, providing tremendous service to clients. He has superior knowledge of real estate law in the areas of purchase and sale transactions, leasing, title issues and creative methods of handling complex real estate matters.” said Nick George the former practice group leader. “He has held leadership roles with several professional associations and will be a tremendous asset in leading Buckingham’s real estate and construction practice group.”
Lindner is the chair of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Real Estate Section and a member of the American Bar Association, Real Property Section. He is a frequent speaker on industry topics and has written numerous articles. He can be reached at 216.615.7358 or [email protected].
