Buckingham Attorney, Peter Cahoon Receives Second Professionalism Award

Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs Partner, Peter T. Cahoon received the 2014 Akron Bar Association’s Professionalism Award for his exceptional dedication to the standards of the profession, and his commitment to integrity and humanitarian concern within the community.

Cahoon accepted the award at the annual awards dinner October 29 at the Akron Fairlawn Hilton Hotel. Cahoon’s family, along with 28 Buckingham attorneys and staff, were in attendance to applaud Pete on this achievement.

This is Cahoon’s second professionalism award earned this year. In April he received the 2014 J. Dean Carro Professionalism Award, presented by the University of Akron School of Law’s Black Law Students Association.

Cahoon practices in the areas of criminal defense and government investigations, family law and professional responsibility, where he represents attorneys, physicians, dentists, pharmacists and nurses in disciplinary proceedings. He is also included in the Best Lawyers® in America in the area of administrative and regulatory practice.
