About Susan:
Prior to joining Buckingham, Susan practiced as a litigator for over 20 years, both at Moscarino & Treu and Arter & Hadden. Before entering private practice, she had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable Michael S. Kanne, U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit.
Susan has a well-developed knowledge of medicine from her years as an intensive care nurse which helps her to understand and successfully defend complex medical malpractice matters. She also has strong skills in legal analysis and writing with a focus on appellate work. In every case, she utilizes a creative and robust motion practice to generate the most favorable result for our clients. Susan firmly believes that thorough preparation is the key to obtaining a successful litigation outcome.
