About George:
Prior to joining Buckingham I was a founding partner in the law firm of Moscarino & Treu with over 30 years of litigation experience. My civil trial practice is multi-faceted with a sub-specialty in professional liability defense, including both legal and medical malpractice suits. I have tried numerous high-profile medical negligence cases to defense verdict and successfully handled related appeals on a variety of legal issues. I have successfully defended and prosecuted multiple business suits, including matters involving banking and financial investments. I have also acted as counsel and trial attorney for numerous professional athletes in a variety of civil litigation matters.
Prior to co-founding Moscarino & Treu in 1998, I was a partner in the Litigation Department of the Cleveland office of Arter & Hadden. I began my career in 1983 as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Cuyahoga County, resulting in numerous trial convictions in felony cases and grand jury investigations of white-collar crime matters.
