About Carmen:
I primarily engage in courtroom hearings and trials and various civil and criminal litigation, much of it referred to me by other law firms due to its complexity. I have experience handling zoning and administrative cases before federal, state and local agencies, such as the Ohio EPA, the Ohio Engineer’s Board, the Atomic Energy Commission, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and various Zoning Boards and Planning Commissions, as well as other agencies within Ohio and the Federal Government.
I believe in working hard and being nice to everyone involved on all sides of a case. These matters are tough for all of us and everyone involved is under a lot of stress. By decreasing it for others you decrease your own.
I am most proud of having been a single parent and raising my daughter, of my service in the U.S. Army, my Bar Associations work, and my legal achievements, in that order.

- Former Assistant Prosecutor for the City of Cuyahoga Falls and Assistant Law Director for the city’s civil division
- Former Cuyahoga Falls Law Director
- Appointed Special Prosecutor to handle prosecution of criminal matters in Youngstown and Stow Municipal Courts (two different cases)
- Served in U.S. Army as a reserve Finance Officer during the Vietnam War
