- Joined the Firm in 2004, and was a Summer Associate in 2003.
- In estate planning, Ms. Taylor focuses on strategies for planning for various family structures and family owned business assets. Ms. Taylor works with clients to plan for incapacity as well as benefits eligibility, as part of estate planning and asset management. In addition, in working closely with owners of closely held businesses, she crafts business succession plans incorporating both a corporate and estate planning perspective.
- Ms. Taylor handles all aspects of Medicaid and disability planning for clients, including asset planning, Medicaid applications and appeals of ineligibility determinations. As part of her Medicaid planning practice, Ms. Taylor also works with clients on matters related to private and Social Security disability income, Veteran's Administration pension, and the creation of special needs trusts.
- Ms. Taylor works with clients in a variety of real estate transactions, including commercial financing, lease issues, eminent domain, and residential and commercial real estate acquisitions.
- Ms. Taylor is licensed to practice law in both Ohio and Florida, and handles matters for clients with interests in both states related to estate planning and real estate matters.
- Prior to joining Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP, Ms. Taylor served as a senior probation officer with the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division.
