As an employee at Buckingham Doolittle and Burroughs, LLP you have the opportunity to select from the following BDBenefits. Different options and
premiums apply within each benefit offered based upon the level of coverage selected and your position (shareholder or support staff, full time or
part time) within the Firm.
Medical & Prescription Insurance
You may select from three different levels of coverage provided by Anthem (Blue Cross/Blue Shield). We also offer coverage through AultCare
for our employees with physicians in the Stark County area.
Dental
There are two levels of comprehensive dental care plans available to be purchased by the employee.
Life Insurance
The Firm provides group life insurance at 1½
x annual earnings at no cost to employees. You have the opportunity to purchase additional group life insurance at 1, 2 or 3 times annual earnings,
and just pay the difference in cost from the Firm provided level.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
The Firm provides a long-term disability insurance benefit of 60% of earnings to $ 2,500/month at no cost to you. The option to purchase additional
group long-term disability insurance is available.
Health Care & Dependent Care Spending Account
For qualified non-covered medical, dental, vision, hearing, and prescription expenses, you can deposit up to $2,500 per year on a pre-tax basis. For childcare and specific dependent adult care expenses, you can deposit up to $5,000 per year on a pre-tax basis.
401K Payroll Deduction Savings Plan
Voluntary contributions can be made at the first quarter after hire. Firm match is 25% per dollar up to 6% of your contribution of your salary after the completion of one year of employment.
Defined Contribution Pension Plan
Firm makes annual contribution of 6.5% of salary after one year of service.
Leave Bank Benefits
Each support staff employee is eligible to receive leave bank time based on the number of hours they work per week. This leave time may be used as
vacation, sick or personal time.
Employee Assistance Program
Employees and immediate family members have access to a confidential professional counseling service.
Paid Parking
Expenses associated with parking are paid in all offices.
