Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP Expands Its Intellectual Property Practice Group with the Addition of Marisa J. Zink

Akron, OH - Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP is pleased to announce that Marisa J. Zink has joined the Akron office as a Partner. The addition of Ms. Zink increases the number of attorneys in Akron to 44 attorneys, and strengthens its Intellectual Property practice.

Prior to joining Buckingham, Ms. Zink was an Associate at Amin, Turocy & Calvin, LLP in Cleveland, Ohio. She has experience preparing and prosecuting utility and design of patent and trademark applications, both foreign and domestic; patent infringement, validity and right-to-market opinions; and domestic and international licenses for patent, technology and trademarks. Ms. Zink also assists in structuring a wide variety of agreements and counseling clients with regard to Intellectual Property portfolios and procurement strategies.

She is admitted to practice before the Ohio State Bar; the United States Patent and Trademark Office; the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio; and the United States Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit. Ms. Zink is a member of the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, Ohio State Bar and Cleveland Bar Associations.

Ms. Zink received her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law, Akron, Ohio (cum laude, 2001) and her B.A. in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio (1997).
