Cleveland, OH -  June 30, 2009 – Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP is pleased to announce that Allan P. Sweet has joined the Cleveland office as an Associate. The addition of Mr. Sweet increases the number of attorneys in Cleveland to 24 attorneys, and strengthens its Trusts & Estates practice. The focus of his practice will be primarily on estate planning and probate and working with clients and their families in all aspects of succession planning and estate administration, including state and federal estate taxation. Mr. Sweet provides statistical and quantitative analysis support to practice group members assisting with tax-minimizing estate planning techniques, and to litigation attorneys with alternative settlement scenarios. Prior to joining Buckingham as an Associate, Mr. Sweet served as a Law Clerk from 2005 to 2008. He is a member of the Ohio State, Cleveland and Akron Bar Associations. Mr. Sweet received his J.D. from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland, Ohio (2009). He was the recipient of the Gardner Award for Outstanding Achievement in Civil Procedure and the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Legal Drafting, Civil Procedure and Arbitration. Mr. Sweet earned his B.A. in Business Administration and Spanish from Mount Union College, Alliance, Ohio (2003). Mr. Sweet resides in Akron, Ohio.
