David J. Hrina Elected Shareholder in Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP's Akron Office

Akron, OH - AKRON, OHIO – March 11, 2009 – Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP, is pleased to announce that David J. Hrina has been elected Shareholder by the Firm’s Board of Managers. Hrina is a member of the Firm’s Business, Litigation, Intellectual Property and Environmental Law Practice Groups.

Hrina is experienced in the preparation and prosecution of mechanical related patent applications, trademark/service mark applications, copyrights, licensing and related intellectual property matters. He is also experienced in all forms of corporate transactions, including entity formation and dissolution, mergers and acquisitions, contractual and environmental matters and negotiations and structuring transactions. He was recognized as one of Ohio’s Super Lawyers Rising Stars™, in the 2005, 2006 and 2009 editions of Cincinnati Magazine, as voted by his peers. Hrina is a member of the Firm’s Environmental Law Initiative, Technology Committee, Recruiting and Hiring Committee and the Paralegal Committee.

Hrina earned his B.E.C.E.(1993) and M.S.C.E.(1995) from Youngstown State University and earned his J.D. from The University of Akron, School of Law (magna cum laude, 2000). He is licensed by the United States Patent & Trademark Office (2002) and he is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio. Hrina is a member of the American, Ohio State, Akron and Mahoning County Bar Associations. He is a former Board Member of Junior Achievement, and a former Adjunct Professor at The University of Akron School of Law.

Hrina resides in Canfield, Ohio with his wife Pam and his five children.
