Akron, OH - The law firm of Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP (“Buckingham”), is pleased to welcome Richard B. Fry, an Associate in the Akron office. The addition of Fry strengthens Buckingham’s business practice. He currently assists the Business Practice Group in a wide variety of areas, including federal and state tax matters and acquisitions. Fry began with Buckingham as a Summer Associate in 2007 and continued working as a law clerk during the Spring of 2008. During his time at Buckingham, he has gained experience in many different areas, including corporate, business and elder law, and litigation. Fry earned his J.D., summa cum laude, at The University of Akron School of Law, Akron, Ohio, in May 2008, finishing in the top 5 percent of his class. He also was a member of the Akron Law Review, serving as an Assistant Editor and Associate Editor. Additionally, he earned a Masters of Taxation from The University of Akron College of Business. Fry completed his undergraduate studies at Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, where he received a Bachelors of Business Administration, cum laude, in 2003. Fry is from the Akron, Ohio area, growing up in Stow and currently residing in Sagamore Hills.
